It’s half past seven, and bath time ran long again. You’ve zipped up the bunny pajamas, the ones with the ears, and you’re walking slow laps around the nursery with the lamp turned low. Somewhere around the third lap, a small damp head gets heavy on your shoulder. You keep walking anyway, because you’re not ready to put the baby down.

    Candle care
    1. Lift the lid and its topper away before you light the candle. The topper is yours to keep, long after the wax is gone.
    2. Let the first burn reach the edges of the jar, so it burns evenly every time after.
    3. Keep the wick trimmed short, and let it rest after about four hours.

    Before you light it

    Are your candles safe to burn? I’ve heard some candles are toxic.

    Every Candlelicious candle is poured from 100% soy wax, and it is non-toxic and hypoallergenic. If you want to know about a specific ingredient, ask us through the contact page.

    Can I get my favorite scent with a different topper?

    Yes. Tell us the scent and the topper you have in mind on the custom orders page, or reach out through the contact form.

    Do you take large orders for corporate gifts?

    Yes. We make large batches for corporate gifts and other big orders. Send us the details through the custom orders page and we will write back.

    What size is the candle? Are there other sizes?

    Every candle comes in a 10 oz jar. 8 oz and 16 oz jars are available on request through the custom orders page.

    How does the discount work?

    Add any two candles and 10% comes off both. Three candles take 15% off, and four or more take 20% off. Mix any scents you like. You’ll see it in your bag before you pay.

    Where do you ship, and what does it cost?

    We ship across the United States. Standard shipping is $8, and it is free on orders of $70 or more. Express shipping is $15.

    How do I get the best burn?

    The first time you light it, let the wax melt all the way to the edge of the jar so it burns evenly every time after. Trim the wick to a quarter inch before each light, and keep each burn under four hours.

    Painting with scent

    I’ve been an artist for as long as I can remember. A blank canvas and a quiet afternoon still feel like home to me.

    A scent can open a door a canvas can’t.

    Somewhere along the way, I fell in love with a medium you can’t see. A painting asks you to look. A scent doesn’t ask at all. One breath, and you’re somewhere you haven’t stood in years, with people you miss. I make candles to hold those doors open a little longer.

    I hope one of mine takes you somewhere you’ve been longing to go.
